Unbelievably this item is selling for LESS now than when I bought it in 2014. It is a simple product and back when I bought in on Amazon it had great ratings. As of today it still has an 81% 5 star rating. When I bought it, I figured anything under $20.00 for a Christmas gift was a no brainer. At a bit lesser price point today, it still holds that still holds true. Whether you are buying it for yourself or for a gift, it is still under that $20.00 price point.
I have no idea but most likely no longer in use. My nephew is in the workforce today in the HVAC world. Perhaps he still has it and still collects Pokémon cards lol. I will have to ask him. It garnered a big hug and a thank you from the recipient in 2014.
A simple gift and not one that can attest to in the way of function or quality. You do have to purchase your own storage sheets. I am a comic collector for many decades and my initial purchases were bought and stored with no protection. Knowing how those initial years of comic purchases without storing them correctly affected the condition of my comics, I highly recommend that any cards you are collecting are properly stored. The natural age of a paper product degrades in time and anything that will help keep them in their original condition is a great investment.

The difference that I see from other options is that this item features actual trademarked characters where other similar products are of a generic nature in terms of what is printed on the cover.
